LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 866

Sections 134(f), 160(e) and 164(e) be and they are hereby
added to Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

134.

(F) (1) IN WORCESTER COUNTY FROM THE PROCEEDS OF
THE PAYMENTS MADE TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
THE BOARD SHALL MAKE QUARTERLY PAYMENTS TO THE MUNICIPAL
CORPORATIONS OF OCEAN CITY, SNOW HILL, BERLIN AND
POCOMOKE CITY. EACH OF THESE PAYMENTS TO THE
MUNICIPALITIES SHALL BE BASED ON PURCHASES FROM MARYLAND
LICENSED WHOLESALERS BY RETAIL LICENSEES WITHIN THEIR
RESPECTIVE JURISDICTIONS. PAYMENT SHALL BE AN AMOUNT
EQUAL TO 25 CENTS PER GALLON FOR DISTILLED SPIRITS AND
2.25 CENTS PER GALLON FOR BEER.

(2) ALL RETAIL LICENSEES LOCATED WITHIN THE
INCORPORATED TOWNS OF OCEAN CITY, SNOW HILL, BERLIN AND
POCOMOKE CITY SHALL FILE REPORTS AT ANY TIME AND FROM
TIME TO TIME UPON WRITTEN REQUEST OF THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS OF WORCESTER COUNTY RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES PURCHASED BY THEM FROM MARYLAND LICENSED
WHOLESALERS.

(E) THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION DC NOT APPLY TO
THE DEPARTMENT OF LIQUOR CONTROL OF WORCESTER COUNTY
[[AFTER SEPTEMBER 30, 1976]].

164.

(E) (1) IN WORCESTER COUNTY, THE LIQUOR
[[CONTROL]] LICENSE BOARD SHALL REQUIRE ANY ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGE LICENSEE WITHIN ANY INCORPORATED MUNICIPALITY TO
RECORD AND REPORT THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ANY ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES ACQUIRED FROM THE WHOLESALERS FOR EACH QUARTER
OF THE YEAR THAT HIS LICENSE COVERS.

(2)    THE LICENSEE SHALL USE THE FORMS
PROVIDED BY THE BOARD FOR THE REPORT TO BE MADE QUARTERLY
OR WITHIN 30 DAYS FOLLOWING THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE YEAR
THAT HIS LICENSE COVERS.

(3)    THE BOARD SHALL FORWARD THE REPORT TO
THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections
19(m)(6), 21(j)(6), 159(d)(5), 159(e)(2)(iv), 159(h)(7)
and 165(h) of Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed:
