SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 6—111[[,]] and 6-111.1 (c) [[, and
6-601]] of Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows;:

6-111.

(a)    Upon surrendering the instruction and
examination license and undergoing a satisfactory
examination as to his/her qualifications, [such person
shall be] THE APPLICANT IS entitled to receive the
license applied for upon the payment of the fees provided
for in § 6-111.1.

(b)    A number shall be assigned to each license,
and a proper record of all applications for licenses and
for all licenses issued shall be kept by the [Department]
ADMINISTRATION , and shall be open to public inspection.

(c)    [Each license shall state the full name,
residence address, race, sex, height, weight, and date of
birth of the licensee and shall authorize the licensee to
operate any motor vehicle of the class(es) specified
thereon.] THE LICENSE SHALL BE OF A SIZE, DESIGN, AND
CONTENT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR, AND SHALL
INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

(1)    NAME AND RESIDENCE ADDRESS OF THE
APPLICANT.

(2)    DATE OF BIRTH OF THE APPLICANT.

(3)    DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLICANT WHICH SHALL
INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, HEIGHT, WEIGHT, AND SEX.

(4) PHOTOGRAPH OF THE APPLICANT.
