SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Motor Vehicles — Drivers' Licenses and
Special Identification Cards

FOR the purpose of requiring that drivers' licenses [[and
special identification cards]] issued by the Motor
Vehicle Administration contain a photograph of the
person to whom it is issued; generally revising the
required information and content of drivers'
licenses; [[increasing]] altering the fee for
renewal of drivers' licenses [[and special
identification cards]]; requiring drivers' licenses
[[and special identification cards]] to be valid for
a certain period; relating generally to the
issuance, expiration and renewal of drivers'
licenses [[and special identification cards]];
correcting certain obsolete references; and
clarifying language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws

Section 6-111[[,]] and 6-111. 1 (c) [[ , and 6-601]]
