THROUGH THE CENTRAL PAYROLL BUREAU BY SECTION 38A OF

ARTICLE 64A. IN ALL CASES OF DOUBT AS TO WHETHER A

PERSON IS ELIGIBLE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE DEFERRED
COMPENSATION PLAN, THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES THAT ADMINISTERS
THIS PLAN SHALL DETERMINE WHETHER ANY PERSON IS A STATE
EMPLOYEE AS DEFINED IN THIS SUBTITLE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE
METHOD OF PAYMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws — Penalties for Misdemeanor

FOR the purpose of changing the maximum penalties for
certain violations of the Motor Vehicle Laws
relating to traffic accidents.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws
Section 17-101 (b) (ii)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1970 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 17-101(b)(ii) of Article 66 1/2 -
Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws

17-101.

(b) Every person convicted of a misdemeanor for
the violation of any provisions of this article shall be
punished by a fine of not more than $500, except that:

(ii) Every person who is convicted of a
violation of any of the provisions of § 4-102, § 4-103, §
4-104, § 4-107, § 4-110, § 5-401, § 6-301, § 6-301.1, §
6-601(f), § 10-102, § 10-103, § 10-104, § 10-105, §
10-105.1, § 10-108, § 11-206 or § 11-902(b), (C), OR (D)
