closing. [Such permission] PERMISSION shall be
evidenced by a suitable license authorized by the board
of license commissioners and issued by the clerk of the
circuit court[, the]. THE annual fee [therefore being
ten dollars ($10.00)] IS $10. Any violation of this
subsection shall incur the same penalty as a violation
for making a sale of alcoholic beverages after hours.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County - Alcoholic Beverages
AA 319-76

FOR the purpose of adding Anne Arundel County to the
provision establishing a certain fee per day for a
special and temporary alcoholic beverage license;
clarifying language and restructuring.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 25 (c)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 25(c) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

25.

(c)        (1)       Special beer, wine and liquor license,

Class C, which [shall entitle] ENTITLES the holder
[thereof] to exercise any of the privileges conferred by
[the said] THIS class of license for the use of any
person holding a bona fide entertainment conducted by a
club, society, or association at the place [therein]
described for a period not exceeding seven consecutive
