FOR the purpose of repealing those provisions concerning
the fee for a Racetrack Alcoholic Beverage License
in Anne Arundel County; providing for the
establishment of a new fee; and clarifying language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 28(b)(2) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

28.

(b) (2) The cost for [such] THIS license [shall
be one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200.00) each
calendar] IS $50 PER DAY TO BE PAID ON JANUARY 1 FOR THE
RACING OF THE PRECEDING year, payable to the clerk of the
Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County and [shall entitle]
ENTITLES the holder to sell at one or more locations
within its [said] park.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
