DWELLINGS OF BUILDINGS. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS PARAGRAPH
DO NOT APPLY TO THE NORMAL USE OF HEADLIGHTS OF A VEHICLE
TRAVELLING ON ANY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE ROAD IN THE COUNTY IN
A NORMAL MANNER, TO ANY POLICE, EMERGENCY OR UTILITY
COMPANY VEHICLE USING SPOTLIGHTS IN THE PERFORMANCE OF
THEIR DUTIES, OR TO ANY FARMER OF LANDOWNER ON HIS OWN OR
LEASED LAND USING ARTIFICIAL LIGHTS TO CHECK ON LIVESTOCK
OR POULTRY OR IN ROUTINE FARM PROCEDURES. HOWEVER,
RACCOONS OR OPOSSUM MAY BE HUNTED ON FOOT AT NIGHTTIME
DURING OPEN SEASON WITH THE USE OF A DOG AND LIGHT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Washington County — Sunday "Blue Law" Activities

FOR the purpose of providing that in Washington County
any business, rather than only a small business,
employing not more than a certain number of people
may remain open on Sundays.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 534-0(c)(3) of Article 27 - Crimes
and Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
