Ch. 503

Montgomery County shall receive an annual salary of
$2,000[; provided, however, that]. HOWEVER, in the event
of special elections or special services rendered, the
board may allow such additional compensation as it deems
commensurate with the special services rendered.

[(4)](5) The counsel to the board in Prince
George's County shall receive an annual salary of
[$4,500.00; provided, however, that] $4,500. HOWEVER, in
the event of special elections or special services
rendered, the board may allow [such] additional
compensation fas] it deems commensurate with the special
services rendered.

[(5)](6) The counsel to the board in Anne
Arundel County shall receive an annual salary of $2,400.
However, in the event of special election or the
rendering of special services, the board, with the
approval of the Anne Arundel County Council, may allow
whatever additional compensation it considers
commensurate with the special services [which were]
rendered.

(7) THE COUNSEL TO THE BOARD IN WORCESTER
COUNTY SHALL RECEIVE AN ANNUAL SALARY OF $800.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of this Act shall not be construed to extend
or apply to the salary of the Board of Supervisors of
Elections in office on the effective date of this Act,
but the provisions of this Act concerning the salary of
the Board of Supervisors of Elections shall take effect
at the beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
