UNLESS:

(1) ENGAGED IN HOT PURSUIT OF A SUSPECTED
OFFENDER;

[[(2) IN SEARCH OF AN OFFENDER OR SUSPECTED
OFFENDER WANTED FOR A CRIME COMMITTED ON PROPERTY OWNED,
LEASED, OPERATED BY, OR UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE MARYLAND
PORT ADMINISTRATION OR INTERVIEWING OR SEEKING TO
INTERVIEW A WITNESS OR SUPPOSED WITNESS TO THE CRIME;]]

[[(3)]] (2) SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED OR
PERMITTED TO DO SO IN A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION BY ITS
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OR ITS CHIEF POLICE OFFICER; OR

[[(4)]] (3) ORDERED TO DO SO BY THE GOVERNOR.

(B) THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION, IN
CONSULTATION WITH THE SUPERINTENDENT OF THE MARYLAND
STATE POLICE AND THE MARYLAND POLICE TRAINING COMMISSION
SHALL ADOPT STANDARDS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND PREREQUISITES
OF CHARACTER, TRAINING, EDUCATION, HUMAN AND PUBLIC
RELATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE FOR THE MARYLAND PORT
ADMINISTRATION POLICE FORCE, INCLUDING STANDARDS FOR
PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES. HOWEVER, THE ADOPTION OF ANY
STANDARDS RELATING TO MINIMUM HIRING QUALIFICATIONS FOR
MARYLAND PORT ADMINISTRATION POLICE FORCE DOES NOT AFFECT
THE STATUS OF ANY QUALIFIED MEMBER OF THE CURRENT
MARYLAND PORT ADMINISTRATION POLICE FORCE.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

FOR the purpose of including a certain additional County
in which disorderly conduct on the land of another
is a crime; generally relating to disorderly
