SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 124 of Article 27 - Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments
124.
Any person who shall enter upon the land or premises
of any other person, whether such person be the owner or
lessee of [said] THE land or premises and wilfully act in
a disorderly manner by making loud and unseemly noises,
or by profanely cursing or swearing or using obscene
language or acting in any other disorderly manner while
thereon, shall upon conviction [thereof] be sentenced to
pay a fine of not less than [one dollar] $1 and not more
than [twenty—five dollars] $25, and when said fine and
costs are not paid, the parties so convicted may be
committed to the county jail pursuant to the provisions
of Article 38, § 4[; provided however, that]. HOWEVER,
the provisions of this section shall only apply to
Allegany County, CALVERT COUNTY, Caroline County, Cecil
County, Charles County, Frederick County, Garrett County,
Harford County, Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince
George's County, St. Mary's County, Carroll County,
Queen Anne's County, Washington County, Worcester County,
Talbot County, Wicomico County, Dorchester County, Kent
County and Somerset County[; provided that in]. IN
Worcester County this section shall also apply to beaches
adjacent to residential riparian property and provided
further that no bonfires shall be built nor allowed to
burn on any beach or other property in Worcester County
between the hours of 1:00 o'clock a.m. and 5:00 o'clock
a.m.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
