1-184 and 1-2031 TRAILER, SEMITRAILER[[,]] OR A POLE
TRAILER AS DEFINED IN §§ 1-203, 1-184, AND 1-162 of this
article [provided] IF the TRAILER, semitrailer, or POLE
trailer does not exceed 10,000 pounds registered gross
weight. The operator of a tow truck, designed and used
exclusively for towing vehicles, holding either a Class
A, B, C or D license may tow any vehicle.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning
Vehicle Laws — Suspension of Driving Privileges
FOR the purpose of repealing the provisions requiring
expungement from a driving record of suspensions
imposed for failure to appear in accordance with a
written promise or to pay the fine under certain
circumstances; and making certain changes in style.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 66 1/2 — Vehicle Laws
Section 16-113(c) and 17-102
Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 16-113(c) and 17-102 of Article
66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1970 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and they
are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

16-113.
(c) If any person fails to appear in accordance
with his promise, the District Court judge shall notify
him that his driving privileges will be suspended if he
does not pay the fine on the original charge or post bond
requesting a new trial date within 15 days of the
original trial date. If, at the end of the 15 days the
person has not complied, the District Court shall notify
the Administration, which may forthwith suspend the
