to drive a vehicle for which a Class D license would be
required if the vehicle were driven in this State by a
resident;

(v) He must be at least 16 years old
to drive a vehicle for which a Class E license would be
required if the vehicle were driven in this State by a
resident[. ]; AND

[3.] (VI) Notwithstanding anything to the
contrary in the foregoing provisions, a nonresident must
be at least 18 years old to drive a bus on any highway in
this State.

[4.] (7) Students enrolled in an accredited
Maryland or adjoining state school, college, or
university[,] or serving an internship provided the state
in which he is a resident shall extend the same
privileges to residents of this State.

SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

license is authorized to drive.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 6-102.2(c) and (e) of Article 66
1/2 — Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1970 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and they
are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
