AN ACT concerning

Election Code - Absentee Ballots

FOR the purpose of providing that the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws shall
prescribe all forms of applications for absentee
ballots; repealing certain provisions setting forth
specific forms for [[ballots]] ballot applications;
making style changes; and generally relating to
absentee ballots.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 27-2(b), 27-4 and 27-5(b) of
Article 33 — Election Code, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be
and they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(b) Any otherwise qualified voter who is blind,
physically disabled or who has impaired vision and is for
one of these reasons unable to mark his absentee ballot
and sign the required oath, may be assisted in voting by
any person selected by the voter. Any person rendering
assistance pursuant to this subsection shall execute
