       that part parcel or Tract of Land Called Joshuas Folly  Also all that part parcel or Tract of Land
       Called Joshuas Grove  Also all that Tract of Land Called Tuckers Delight  Also the Addition to
       Tuckers Delight  Also all that part parcel or Tract of Land called Gardners Mill  Also all that
       part parcel or Tract of Land Called Bowdens Folly  Also all that part parcel or Tract of Land Called
       Joshua's Addition  And Also all ^that^ part parcel or Tract or part of a Tract of Land Called Yates's Contrivance
       All which said Last mentioned Eleven parts parcels or Tracts of Land are situate
       Lying and being on the South side of Patapsco Falls in Ann Arundel County aforesaid Together
       with all rights profits Benefits Priviledges Appurtenances and improvements thereon Erected
       and made and thereunto belonging  To have and to hold the aforesaid parts parcels and Tracts of
       Land Hereditaments and premisses with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging
       unto the said David Gist his Heirs and Assigns  To the only proper use and Behoof of the said David
       Gist his Heirs and Assigns forever and to and for none other use Intent and ^or^ purpose whatsoever  And
       the said John Cockey doth hereby for himself his Heirs Executors & Administrators Covenant promise Grant
       and agree to and with the said David Gist his Heirs and Assigns that he the said John Cockey and his
       Heirs the aforesaid parts parcels and Tracts of Land Hereditaments and premisses with the
       Appurtenances unto him the said David Gist his Heirs and Assigns from and against him
       the said John Cockey his Heirs and Assigns and of from and against all persons whatsoever
       Claiming or to Claim by from or under him the said John Cockey or his Heirs shall and will Warrent
       and forever Defend by these presents and the said John Cockey and his Heirs shall and will at the
       Reasonable Request Costs and Charges in the Law of him the said David Gist at any time hereafter
       make do Acknowledge suffer and Execute or Cause and procure to be made done ^acknowledged^ suffered and Executed
       all such further and other Act and Acts Things and things Devices Conveyances and Assurances in
       the Law whatsoever for the Better and more perfect assureing and suremaking all and singular
       the said parts parcels or Tracts of Lands Hereditaments and premisses with the appurtenances
       unto him the said David Gist his Heirs and Assigns as by his or their Council Learned in the Law      
       shall be Reasonably Devised or Advised and Required According to the True intent and meaning
       hereof  In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto set their hand and
       seals the day and year first above Written

                      On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit

       Received the day and year within Written by me the within Named John Cockey of and from
       the within named David Gist the sum of One thousand and two hundred pounds Current money being
       the full Consideration money within mentioned to be by him to me paid for the within Bargained
       and sold premisses I say Reced the same  As Witness my hand

          Balt Cot.y State of Maryland   Be it Remembered that on the 17.th day of June one thousand
       Seven hundred and Eighty three before us the subscribers two of the states Justices for the said County

       writing to be his Act and Deed and the several parts parcels and Tracts of Land therein mentioned
