62 Ex.d D.d not ^and^ p.d This Indenture made this tenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty three Between Charles Carroll of Carrollton of Anne Arundel County Esquire of the one part and Benjamin Griffith Philip Hall John McClellan and Leonard Helm of Baltimore County Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Charles Carroll for and in Consideration of the Sum of Eight hundred and fifty pounds common Current money of Maryland to him in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said Benjamin Philip John and Leonard the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath bargained and sold aliened released enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents Doth bargain and sell alien release enfeoff and confirm unto them the said Benjamin Philip John and Leonard their heirs and Assigns for ever all that tract piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in Baltimore County aforesaid being part of a Tract of Land called Coles Harbour and afterwards resurveyed and called Todds Range beginning at a Stump where is planted a Young Locust Tree on a bank near a bridge built of Brick and Stone in Charles Street which said Stump is the beginning of a Tract of Land called Deep Point and stands within thirteen feet of a Locust post the beginning of Baltimore Town running thence with and bounding on the Land heretofore sold out of Coles Harbour West seventy five perches thence North North East sixty four Perches until it intersects Baltimore Street then with Baltimore Street Westernly thirty three perches and an half untill it intersects the North North East line of Coles Harbour and Todds Range then reversing said line South South West Ninety eight perches until it intersects the end of the west line of Coles Harbour and Todds Range then reversing the said West Line ^East^ One hundred and seventeen perches to the head of the Bason and untill the same intersects the first line of a parcel of Land purchased of Charles Carroll of Carlton Esquire by Philip Hall being part of said Tract of Land called Coles Harbour and Todds Range then with a straight line to the beginning containing and laid out for thirty four Acres and Sixty Six square Perches be the same more or less Together with all and singular the buildings Improvements Rents Arearages of Rents ways water courses Easements profits commodities advantages and Appurtenances to the same Tract piece or parcel of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Tract piece or parcel of Land with the appurtenances unto the said Benjamin Philip John and Leonard their heirs and Assigns forever And the said Charles for himself his heirs Executors and Admrs Covenants and agrees to and with the said Benjamin Philip John and Leonard and to and with each of them their and each of their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that the said Charles Carroll his heirs Exrs and Admrs shall and will for ever warrant and defend the said Tract piece or parcel of Land with all the premisses and appurtenances thereunto belonging against him the said Charles Carroll and his heirs and all persons whatsoever claiming by from or under him them or any of them unto them the said Benjamin Philip John and Leonard their Heirs and Assigns for ever And he the said Charles Carroll for himself and his heirs Covenants and agrees to and with them the said |
