       acquit & discharge the said William Campbell his Heirs Executors Administrators
       and assigns and every of them by these presents hath given granted Bargained
       & sold alien release enfeoff and Confirm & by these presents Doth give grant
       Bargain Sell alien release enfeoff and confirm unto him the said William
       Campbell his heirs and assigns forever one Lott or Portion of Ground situate
       lying and being in the Town of Washington in Washington County distinguished
       in the plat of said Town by N.o 12 with all and singular the Houses
       Buildings Garden Timber profits Previledges advantages and appurtenances
       to the said Lot or portion of Ground or in any wise appertaining and all and every
       the profits and every part and parcel thereof and all the Estate right Title claim
       or demand whatever of him the s.d Thomas Beall of Sam.l of into or out of the      
       said Lott or portion of Ground & every part and parcel thereof & premises with the
       appurtenances resurveying Nevertheless to him the said Thomas Beall his
       heirs and assigns the anual Rent of one Spanish Milled Dollar for the aforesaid
       Lott which is payable on the first day of January in the year of Our Lord One thousand
       seven hundred and Eighty six and payable to the said Thomas Beall his Heirs or
       assigns on the said first day of January in every Year thereafter To have and To
       hold the said Lott or portion of Ground and Premises unto him the said William
       Campbell his heirs and assigns for ever and to or for no other use or purpose whatever
       and the said Thomas Beall for himself his heirs Executors Administrators doth
       warrant and forever defend the s.d Lott unto him the said William Campbell
       his heirs or assigns forever against any person or persons laying any just claim
       or title to s.d Lott or Portion of Land  In Witness whereof the said
       Thomas Beall of Samuel hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal
       the day and year above Written

       Received on the day and year above written of and from the said William
       Campbell within Named Ten pounds Currency being the consideration
       money mentioned to be paid by him to me I say Rec.d By me

       On the 12.th day of November 1785 Came before us two Justices for Washington
       County Thomas Beall of Samuel and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be
       his Act and Deed & the Land & premises therein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the
       within named William Campbell his Heirs and Assigns for ever at the same time came
       Verlinda Beall wife to the said Thomas Beall of Samuel her husband Released and
       Relinquished her right title and claim of Dower of & to the within mentioned Land &
       acknowledged she did the same freely and Voluntarily without being induced thereto
       through fear or threats of Ill usage from her said Husband or fear of his displeasure
       according to an act of assembly in such case made & provided
