484) This Indenture made this twelfth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty five Between Vachel Dorsey of Anne Arundel County of the one part and Edward Dorsey of the Town and County of Baltimore of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Vachel Dorsey for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand pounds Sterling Money to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and himself therewith to be fully satisfied and paid Hath remised released and forever quit claim and by these presents Doth remise release and forever quit claim to the said Edward Dorsey his heirs and assigns forever in his full and peaceable possession and Seisin thereof now being all such Right Estate Title Interest claim and Demand whatsoever as he the said Vachel Dorsey had or ought to have if these presents had never been made of in and to all that Tract or parcel of Land called the mistake lying in Anne Arundel County aforesaid and Begining at a bounded white oake being the Beginning Tree of a parcel of Land called Ranters Ridge originally surveyed for a certain Thomas Brown and granted by patent to a certain Daniel Carroll for five hundred acres of Land more or Less as also part of a Tract of Land called the dispute ended adjoining to the aforesaid Land Begining at a bounded white oak the original Beginning Tree of a Tract of Land Jacks Peacock containing and laid out for two hundred acres More or Less as also part of a Tract of Land called Yates's Contrivance containing and Laid out for one hundred acres of Land more or less being one fourth part of Yates's Contrivance which contains by patent Four hundred acres More or less and also one other part of Yates's Contrivance containing and laid out for Seventy five Acres of land more or less the said Land purchased by Samuel Yates from her Brother Benjamin Yates and conveyed by Samuel Yates to a certain Nathan Dorsey To have and To hold all the said Tracts and Parcels of Land and premisses with every of the appurtenances unto the said Edward Dorsey his heirs and assigns forever and all his the said Rachel Dorseys Right Title Interest property claim and Demand whatsoever of in and to the said Tracts and parts of Tracts of Land to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Edward Dorsey his heirs and assigns forever so that neither he the said Vachel Dorsey nor his Heirs nor any other person or persons for him or them or in his or their Names or in the name or right or stead of any of them shall or will by any ways or means hereafter have claim or demand any Estate Right Title or Interest of in or to the said Premises or any part or parcel thereof but from all and every action Right Estate Title Interest or Demand of in or to the said Premises or any part thereof they and every of them shall be utterly excluded and barred for ever by these presents In Witness whereof the said Vachel Dorsey hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written Signed Sealed and in presence of Vachel Dorsey (seal) NB From the word "Presents" in the twenty sixth Line of the second to the word "In" in the ninth line of the third Page were erased before the execution hereof J E Howard Peter Shepherd (On) |
