       On the back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Endorsed to wit

             State of Maryland   Montgomery County to wit 7.th of Feb.ry 1785
       Then Thomas Magruder and John Murdock Witnesses to the within Bond personally
       appeared before us Two of the Justices of the County aforesaid and made Oath that
       they saw the within named James Maccubbin Lingan William Deakins and
       William Bayly sign Seal and Deliver the within Bond as their Act and Deed for
       the uses and purposes therein Mentioned and that they subscribed their Names
       as Witnesses thereto in the presence of the said Lingan Deakins and Bayly and in the
       of each other

       Wellington of Cannon Street in the City of London Merchant under the Firm
       of James Wellington and Company Samuel Brandram Thomas Templeman
       and Richard Jaques of Bridge Row in the said City Colourmen and Copartners
       Robert Dimsdale and Charles Turner of Newgate Street in the said City of
       London Grocers and Copartners John Cookson and Joseph Fawcett of Leeds in
       the County of York Merchants and Copartners John Cookson of Thames Street
       in the said City of London Merchant and Lewis Lambert of the Strand in the
       Liberty of the Savoy in the County of Middlesex Stationer Have and each of us
       Hath made ordained authorized constituted and appointed and in our and each
       of our Place and Stead put and deputed and by these presents Do and each of us
       Doth make ordain authorize constitute and appoint and in our and in our and
       each of our place and stead put and Depute John Waddington formerly
       and now clerk to the above named James Wellington and Company and late
       residing at Leeds in the County of York in the Kingdom of Great Britain but now
       residing in same place in North America our true and Lawfull Attorney for us
       and in our names or name to ask demand sue for Recover Receive and take
       all such sum & sums of money and other matters and things whatsoever as now
       are or is or at any time or times hereafter shall or may be or become due owing or
       belonging to us the said James Wellington and Company as partners as aforesaid
       and to any or either of us Personally and Individually and to us the said
       Samuel Brandram Thomas Templeman and Richard Jaques as Partners
       as aforesaid and to any or either of us Personally and Individually and to us
       the said Robert Dimsdale and Charles Turner as Partners as aforesaid and
       to either of us Individually and to us the said John Cookson and Joseph Fawcett
