462) The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Charles Mankin shall well and faithfully execute and perform the several duties required of him as Collector of the Tax for Charles County according to Law then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue in Law Signed Sealed and Charles Mankin (seal) Delivered in the presence of us Rich.d Barnes Fran.s Ware (seal) G B Causin his Hoskins Hanson Thomas HS Luckett (seal) Mark Samuel Tubman (seal) Will Cox (seal) 2½ sides Ja Russell (seal) Recorded Dec.r 8.th 1785 Basil Robey (seal) This Indenture made the second day of November in the year Seventeen hundred and Eighty five Between Elizabeth Bordley of the one part and John Bordley Nephew of the said Elizabeth Bordley of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Elizabeth Bordley in consideration of five Shillings to her in hand paid hath given Bargained Sold aliened released enfeoffed and confirmed and hereby Doth give bargain sell alien release enfeof and confirm unto the said John Bordley all those tracts of Land the property of the said Elizabeth Bordley commonly called the remainder being the same Left her by her Father Thomas Bordley and a Tract taken up by John Beale Bordley and Matthias Bordley (being a vacancy) for her lying and being in Frederic County and adjoining the Lands formerly the property of John Beale Bordley but now the property of the aforesaid John Bordley as also all and every Tract or Tracts which join to the aforesaid Lands Together with all rights Previledges and Appurtenances thereto belonging To have and to hold the said James to the said John Bordley and his Heirs and assigns to and for his and their only proper use and behoof forever and the said Elizabeth Bordley for herself and her heirs Doth covenant and it is agree between her and the said John Bordley for himself and his Heirs and assigns that the said Land and premisses to the said John Bordley his Heirs and assigns the said Elizabeth Bordley and her Heirs against all claims by reason of any Act of the said Elizabeth Bordley and not (further) |
