                   This Indenture made this twenty eighth day of November
       in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty five Between
       William Booth of Washington County and State of Maryland of the one part
       and Mary Valens of County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth
       that the said William Booth for and in Consideration of the sum of five shillings
       Current Money to the said William Booth in hand paid by the said Mary
       Valens at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt and
       payment whereof the said William Booth doth hereby acknowledge and thereof
       of and of every part or parcel thereof doth clearly exonerate acquit and
       discharge the said Mary Valens her heirs Executors Administrators and
       Assigns and every of them by these presents Hath granted Bargained Sold
       assigned remised released Transferred quit claimed and confirmed and
       by these presents Doth grant bargain sell assign remise release transfer
       quit claim and confirm unto the said Mary Valens her heirs and assigns
       all the following Tracts or parcels of Land (to wit) one Tract or parcel of Land
       situate lying and being in Frederick County called Lost pen and Ink purchased
       by the Reverend Bartholomew Booth of William Magruder and decended
       to the said William Booth as Son and Heir of the said Bartholomew Booth
       deceased containing Two hundred Acres of Land more or Less also one other
       Tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in Frederick County aforesaid
       called Burgundy purchased by s.d William Booth of Jacob Smith containing
       fifty Acres of Land More or Less also one other Tract or parcel of Land
       situate lying and being in Frederick County aforesaid called Shepherds
       Mountain formerly belonging to Bartholomew Booth deceased and
       decended to the said William Booth as son and Heir of the said
       Bartholomew Booth containing one hundred and fifty acres of Land more
       or Less and also one other Tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being
       in Frederick County aforesaid called Cottage formerly belonging to
       Bartholomew Booth deceased and decended to the said William Booth
       as Son and Heir of the said Bartholomew Booth containg forty acres of
