       Thomas Gassaway Levi Ghant & William Holmes in the name of John Dorsey
       or for his use To have and to hold the Lands & Premises with the Negroes
       an Debts aforesaid to them the said Thomas Dorsey and Samuel Chase
       their Heirs Executors Administrators or assigns In trust to be disposed
       of to the best advantage and applied to the payment of the Creditors of the
       said Partnership  In Witness whereof the said John Dorsey hath
       hereunto sett his hand and affixed his Seale the day and year first above

       before me one of the Judges of the General Court for the State of Marayland
       and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed
       and the Lands & premises with the Negroes & Debts within Mentioned to be
       the right title and Estate of the within Named Thomas Dorsey & Samuel
       Chase their Heirs & assigns for ever

             This Indenture made this 12.th day of November One thousand
       seven hundred and Eighty five Between john Dorsey of Baltimore County
       of the one part & Luther Martin of the said County of the other part  Witnesseth
       that he the said John Dorsey for and in consideration of the sum of Three
       thousand Six hundred & Ninety pounds Current Money to him in hand paid
       before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he doth
       hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom acquit the said Luther Martin his
       heirs Executors and Administrators by these presents have given granted
       Bargained Sold aliened enfeeofd & Confirmed and by these presents do give
       grant Bargain sell alien enfeeof and confirm to the said Luther Martin
       all his the said John Dorseys right either in Law or equity of in or to all
       those Tracts of Land lying on Elk Ridge in Ann Arundel County where he
       the said John formerly Lived called and known by the name of Dorseys
       Adventure Dorseys Inheritance Good for Little and the resurvey on Good
       for Little Chews Vineyard Adam the first and any other Lands that he the
