       Grandson The Said James Clark to name Substitute and Appoint one or more Attorney
       or Attorneys agent or agents under him for all or any of the Purposes aforesaid
       And again at pleasure to revoke any Such Nomination Substitution or Appointment
       And I do give and grant unto my Said Attorney and his Lawfull Substitute or Substitutes
       Agent or Agents my full and whole power and Authority in the premises hereby promising
       to ratify and Confirm all and whatever my Said Attorney or his Lawfull Substitute or Substitutes
       Agent or Agents shall Lawfully do or Cause to be done in and About the Premises by virtue of
       Of these presents  In Witness whereof I the Said James Russel have hereunto Set my
       hand and Seal this first day of September in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven

       day therein mentioned James Russel did Sign Seal and deliver the Same as his act and
       Deed for the Purposes therein mentioned In presence of the Deponent and Robert Molleson
       who at the Same time witnessed the Same

       This Indenture made this Thirteenth day of December Seventeen Hundred and Eighty Two
       Between Hampton Rownd of the County of Baltimore Merchant of the One part and Charles
       Croxall of Same County Merchant of the Other part  Whereas there has been a Copartnership
       Subsisting between the aforesaid Parties for the purposes of Carrying on a Joint Trade for buying
       and Selling of Merchandize and there is a Balance due to the Said Croxall from the
       Said Rownd on account of the Said Copartnership which is not yet Ascertained by reason
       of the Books not being fully Settled and the damages Sustained by the Said Croxall on Account
       of the Non Compliance of the Said Rownd with the Articles of Copartnership being at
       present and fully known and also on Account of divers Sums of Money advanced by the
       Said Croxall on Account of the Said Copartnership More than his proportion  And whereas
       Also the Said Charles Croxall is Answerable for divers Engagements made and
       Entered into by the Said Rownd in behalf of the Said Copartnership which are
       at present and fi^na^lly adjusted and ^he^ being also desirous of Indemnifying the Said
