414) a Certain Lot or parcel of Ground in the Town of Bladensburgh in Prince Georges County aforesaid Distinguished by the Number thirty one together with the appurtenances as in and by the said recited Indenture recorded in the Land Records of the General Court of the State of Maryland in Liber TBH N.o J folios 215 and 216 Relation thereunto had more at large may appear And whereas the said Richard Ponsonby in Consideration of Thirty six thousand pounds weight of Crop Tobacco to be paid by the said Thomas Hewitt hath sold unto the said Thomas Hewitt All that the said Lot of ground in the said Town of Bladensburgh distinguished by the Number Thirty one and the said Thomas Hewitt for securing the payment of the said Thirty six thousand pounds weight of Crop Tobacco did give his Bond or obligation unto the said Richard Ponsonby and which said Bond or obligation is now in the Hands of John Steinmetz and William Bell Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said John Steinmetz and William Bell for and in consideration of the said Thirty six thousand pounds weight of Crop Tobacco unto them in hand well and truly pay and Deliver by the said Thomas Hewitt at & before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge Have and each of them hath by these presents do and each of them doth Grant Bargain sell remise release and for ever Quit claim and confirm unto the said Thomas Hewitt his Heirs and assigns All that the said Lot of Ground in the Town of Bladensburgh distinguished by the Number thirty one Together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining And the reversions and remainders rents Issues and profits thereof also all the estate right Title Interest use Possession property claim and demand whatsoever of them or either of them the said John Steinmetz and William Bell in Law equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or out of all and singular the premises and every part thereof To have and To hold the said Lott of Ground Hereditaments & premises hereby granted and released or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Thomas Hewitt his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Thomas Hewitt his Heirs and Assigns for ever free and clear ^and^ freely and clearly acquitted exonerated and discharged of and from the said recited Indenture of Mortgage so that neither they the said John Steinmetz and William Bell nor either of them nor their nor either of their Heirs nor any other person or persons for them or either of them or in their or either of their Names or right shall or will by any ways or means whatsoever at any time hereafter claim challenge or Demand any estate right Title or interest of in or to the said Lot of ground and premises and from or any part thereof But from all action ^and^ or Actions Estates Right Title Interest claim and demand of in or to the said PRemises or any part or parcel thereof they and every of them shall be forever barred and excluded by these presents and the said John Steinmetz and William Bell and their Heirs respectively the said Lot of ground Hereditaments and premises hereby granted and released or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Thomas Hewitt his heirs and assigns against them the said John Steinmetz and William Bell and their Heirs respectively and against all and every other person and persons whatsoever Lawfully claiming (or) |
