(361 all the Estate right Title Interest use Trust possession property Claim & Demand whatsoever in Law and in Equity of him the said John Weems of Anne Arundel County of in & to the same with the Appurtenances To have and to hold the aforesaid Tract of Land called Locheden except as before excepted unto him the said John Weems of Calvert County his heirs and assigns to the only proper use & behoof of him the said John Weems last aforesaid his heirs & assigns for ever and to and for no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever And the said John Weems of Anne Arundel County the said Tract of Land called Locheden except as before excepted to him the said John Weems of Calvert County & his heirs against him the said John Weems of Anne Arundel County & his heirs and against all her sons whatsoever claiming by from or under him the said John Weems of Anne Arundel County & his heirs shall and will warrant & for ever defend by these presents In witness whereof the said John Weems of Anne Arundel County hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written Signed sealed & delivered John Weems (Seal) in presence of Richard Harrison Tho.s Tongue On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was written as follows Received on the Day and Year first within written of and from the within named John Weems of Calvert County the Consideration within mentioned being the Sum of Five shillings sterling money Test Richard Harrison John Weems Tho.s Tongue Maryland fs.t On the fifth day of February Anno Domini 1785 Came the within named John Weems of Anne Arundel County before us the subscribers two of the Justices of Anne Arundel County & acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act & Deed & the Land & premisses therein mentioned to be conveyed to be the right title and Estate of the within named John Weems of Calvert County his heirs & assigns forever according to the true Intent & meaning thereof & the Acts of Assembly in such case made & provided At the same time came Mary the Wife of the aforesaid (John) |
