       of Attorney was proved by the Oath of John White to be the Act and Deed of John
       Biddle & Clement Biddle  And ordered to be Recorded

                            On the 8.th day of April 1785 John White one of the Subscribing Witnesses
       to the within Power of Attorney  Appeared before the Subscriber one of the Judges
       of the General Court and made Oath that he saw John Biddle and Clement
       Biddle Sign Seal and Deliver the said Deed that he signed the same as a Witness
       at their Request  And that Robert Gilchrist was present and signed his name
       Likewise as a Witness to the said Deed at the request of the said John Biddle and
       Clement Biddle

       Know all men by these Presents that we Clement Biddle and John Biddle
       Surviving Partners of the House of Clement Biddle & Company and acting occasionally
       by and under the Title and firm of Clement Biddle & Company & Rodolph Tellier for & in
       Consideration of Divers Sums of Money now Due & owing from us to sundry persons Creditors
       of the said Clement Biddle and John Biddle whether in their Joint or several capacities
       and of the said Clement Biddle and Company and of the said Clement Biddle & Company
       & Rodolph Tellier and for the better Securing to the said several Creditors the Payment of their
       Just Demand respectively have Granted bargained Sold & confirmed & by these Presents
       to Grant Bargain Sell & Confirm unto William Pollard Charles Pettit James Crawford
       Jacob Spicer and John Barclay of the City of Philadelphia Merchants All and Singular
       the Hereditaments Real Estate Houses Lands and Tenements whatsoever & wheresoever
       situate of us the said Clement Biddle and John Biddle and of Either of us seperately
       And also All the Warrants Proprietary rights and other Rights of Location of Lands
