       moieties thereof to have and to hold the said undivided moieties of the said Tracts of
       Land unto the said Edmond Plowden and his heirs to the only use of the said Edmond
       Plowden and his Heirs      In Witness whereof the said Philip Key hath hereunto
       set his hand and seal on the Day first mentioned

       Maryland on the 29.th day of December 1784 Philip Key the Grantor mentioned
       in the within Deed appeared before the subscriber one of the Judges of the General
       Court and acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed

       This Indenture made this Eighth day of April in the year of our Lord
       one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five  Between Alexander Trueman
       and Margaret Trueman his wife of the one Part and William Faris of the
       City of Annapolis of the other Part  Witnesseth that the said Alexander
       Trueman and Margaret Trueman for and In Consideration of the sum of
       Three hundred & two Pounds Sixteen Shillings and four Pence to them in hand ^paid^
       By the said William Faris the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
       Have granted bargained and sold aliened remised released and confirmed
       and by These presents Do grant bargain and sell alien remise release and
       Confirm unto him the said William Faris his heirs and Assigns forever all
       that Piece or Parcel of Ground situate lying and being in the City of Annapolis
       aforesaid being part of a Lot Number Sixty one in said City beginning at a
       Bounded Post standing in ^the^ Line of West Street and running thence South
       Twelve Degrees west Twenty feet then South thirty Eight Degrees West
       two hundred feet to Cathedral Street then South Easterly with the line of
       Cathedral Street eighty feet ten Inches to a Bounded Stone then North
       thirty Seven Degrees and a half East two hundred and eighty eight feet
