       Know all men by these presents that We Richard Harwood Jun.r John Weems and
       William Hall 3.d  All of Ann Arundel County Gentlemen are held and firmly Bound
       unto the State of Maryland in the full and Just Sum of Seventeen Thousand Pounds
       Current money to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind
       ourselves and each of us our Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns firmly
       by these Presents for and in the whole Sealed with our Seals and Dated this Eleventh
       Day of March one Thousand seven hundred and Eighty five

                            The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound
       Richard Harwood jun.r shall well and faithfully Execute and Perform the several
       Duties required of him as Collector of the Tax for Ann Arundel according to Law
       then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue

       This Indenture made the 29.th of December Seventeen hundred and Eighty four
       between Philip Key of S.t Marys County Gentleman of the one part and Edmund Plowden
       Gentleman of the County aforesaid of the other Part witnesseth that whereas Thomas Bond
       of S.t Marys County and the said Philip Key are seised in fee as Joint Tenants of a Tract
       of Land called the Flower of the Forest containing Thirty nine Acres and one half Acres
       also of a Tract of Land called the Wee Bit containing Seven Acres and one half Acre
       also of a Tract of Land called Cambridge containing ninety six acres All which Tracts
       of Land line in S.t Marys County and were Granted to the said Thomas Bond & Philip Key
       and their Heirs by the Respective Patients all bearing Date the Twenty fourth day of
       May Seventeen hundred and seventy six  Now the said Philip Key for and in consideration
       of the sum of two hundred pounds the receipt whereof the said Philip Key doth hereby
       acknowledge hath given granted bargained & sold and doth give grant bargain
       and sell unto the said Edmund Plowden and his Heirs all the said Philip Keys right
       Title interest to and in the said Several Tracts of Land or to and in his undivided
