277 To and with the said John Rogers his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns by these Presents in Manner and form following that is to say that the said Thomas Stains and Elizabeth his Wife are seized in fee simple of and in the said Lot of Ground and Premises with the Appurtenances hereby sold to the said John Rogers without any remainder over Condition Trust limitation or Use Estate or any other Restraint to alter Charge incumber or make Void the same Estate in any Manner whatsoever and that the same Lot and Premises with the Appurtenances is free and Clear from any Incumbrance by Sale Mor^t^gages Judgments or in any other manner and that the said John Rogers his Heirs and Assigns shall and may at all times hereafter peaceably and Quietly hold Possess and enjoy the said Lot of Ground with the Premises and Appurtenances without any trouble or suit from or by he said Thomas Stains and Wife or their Heirs or of any other Person having or Claiming any Estate therein under them or their Heirs r any other Person or Persons whatsoever and that the said Thomas Stains and Elizabeth his wife and their Heirs the said Lot of Ground and Premises with the Appurtenances from and against them and their Heirs and all other Person or Persons Whatsoever Claiming any right or title thereto or to any Part or Parcel thereof shall and will warrant and for ever Defend by these Presents and that the said Thomas Stains and Elizabeth his Wife and their Heirs shall and will at any time hereafter at the reasonable Request Cost and Charges in the Law of the said John Rogers his Heirs or Assigns make and in due form Execute any further or other Coveyance and such further Act Perform and suffer as may by he said John Rogers his Heirs or Assigns or his or their Council learned in the Law to be advised or required for the further and better conveying and assuring the said Lot of Ground and Premisses with the Appurtenances unto the said John Rogers his Heirs and Assigns for ever In Witness whereof the said Thomas Stains and Elizabeth his Wife have hereto affixed their hands and Seals the Day and year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered Tho.s Stains (Seal) In presence of the deed her being first read to Elizabeth Stains Elizabeth X Stains (Seal) A C Hanson Jn.o Callahan On the back of the aforegoing Deed was Endorsed as follows to wit The eighth Day of December 1784 Then received from the within named John Rogers the sum of fifteen Hundred Pounds Current Money of Maryland being in full for the Consideration Money within Mentioned Witness our ^my^ hands Witness Tho.s Stanes A C Hanson Jn.o Callahan The State of Maryland to wit On the eighth Day of December one thousand seven hundred and Eighty four appeared the within named Thomas Stains and Elizabeth his Wife Parties to the within Deed before me the subscriber one of the Judges of the General (Court) |
