       State of maryland fs.t  Know all men by these presents that we Samuel Abell youngest Joseph
       Ford and Bennet Riley of Saint Marys County and State aforesaid and firmly bound unto
       the State of Maryland aforesaid in the full sum and Just Quantity of two hundred Thousand pounds
       of good sound Merchantable leaf Tobacco and Cash to be paid to the State of Maryland to the which
       payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and every of us our and every of our Heirs Executors
       and Administrators Jointly and Severally for the whole and in the whole firmly by these presents sealed
       with our seals and dated this twenty fifth Day of February Annoque Domini 1784 The Condition
       of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden Samuel Abell do well and truly serve the
       State of Maryland in the Office of High Sheriff of the County of Saint Marys within the State
       afores.d shall under to the State of Maryland and other its Officers a true faithfull and perfect
       account of all & Singular the State of Marylands Right and dues and to its Officers a true and Just
       Account of all there fees that he shall and may be Entrusted with by the said State of Marylands
       Officers to receive and Collect and the Accounts of the State of Maryland and to his and their Officers
       for the time being for the fines and forfitures and other dues belonging to the State afs.d as also its Accounts
       of fees dues and sums of Money or Tobacco due to any of the Good people within this State for any
       sum or sums of Money or Tobacco Wherewith the said Sheriff shall be intrusted during the time
       of his Shrievalty for this present year or to such of them as shall require the same shall pass and
       render by the tenth day of May next ensuing the date hereof and in all other things as Sheriff of the
       County of Saint Marys shall behave himself well and honestly toward all persons according to
       the best of his Power Skill and knowledge then this obligation to be void and of no Effect or else

       On the back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Written (Viz.t)

          State of Maryland then came William Bellwood & Philip Ford before us the Subscribers and
       made Oath that they were present and saw the within Named Sam.l Abell Joseph Ford & Bennet

       This Indenture made the fifteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
       eighty four  Between Mary Jackson of Washington County in the State of Maryland widow of one
       part and David Jackson of Same County and State aforesaid farmer and son of the said Mary Jackson
       of the other part  Witnesseth that the said Mary Jackson as well for and in Consideration of the
       natural Love and Affection which she beareth unto the said David Jackson her son as also for
       the sum of five Shillings Current money to her in hand paid the receipt whereof the said Mary
       Jackson doth hereby acknowledge Hath given granted bargained and Sold aliened enfeoffed and
       confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell aliene enfeoff and Confirm unto
       him the said David Jackson his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that tract or parcel of Land lying
       and being in Washington County and State aforesaid called Charlement containing
                                                                            Acres together with all the Improvements and
       Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any manner or wise whatsoever appertaining and
       also the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and profits of the said
