       Maryland   On the 29.th Day of April 1784 Horatio Belt and Catherine his wife
       appeared before the subscriber one of the Judges of the General Court and acknowledged
       the above instrument of writing to be their act and deed  And the said Catherine being by
       me privatly examined out of the hearing of her husband did acknowledge and declare
       that she made her acknowledgement of the said Deed freely and willingly and without
       being induced thereto by fear or threats of or ill usage by her husband or fear of his Displeasure

       This Indenture made this thirtieth day of April seventeen hundred and Eighty
       four between Benjamin Ogle of the City of Annapolis Gentleman of the One part
       and Horatio Belt of the same place physician of the other part witnesseth that the
       said Benjamin for and in Consideration of the sum of one thousand pounds current money
       to him in hand paid before the sealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
       hereby acknowledged hath given Granted bargained and sold and doth give grant bargain
       and sell unto the said Horatio and his heirs one undivided moiety of one thousand Acres
       of Land lying in Baltimore County which were granted unto Rebecca Hanson and
       Catherine Dulany (now Catherine Belt) by an act of assembly passed at November Session
       1782 intitled an act for the benefit of M.rs Rebecca Hanson and Catherine Dulany and
       by a supplement thereto passed at November session 1783 to hold the same to them and
       their heirs as tenants in common agreable to the terms of the said acts which have been
       fully complied with & such said moiety was given granted bargained and sold ^by^ Horatio Belt
       and Catherine his wife (the same Catherine mentioned in the Acts of Assembly aforesaid
       for the Consideration of one thousand pounds current unto Benjamin Ogle the grantor
       herein mentioned) and his heirs by their Indenture bearing date the twenty ninth day
       of April Seventeen hundred and Eighty four executed acknowledged and enrolled
       according to law and the the said Benjamin doth give grant bargain and sell the said undivided
       moiety of one thousand acres of Land unto the said Horatio and his Heirs to have and
       to hold the same unto him and his heirs to the only use and behoof of him and his heirs
       for ever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands
       and seals the day and year first aforesaid
