202 Baltimore County State of Maryland fs On the 8.th Day of April 1784 Came John Smith and Thomas Smith Attornies legally constituted and Appointed by the within named Daniel Mildred Lydia Mildred Daniel Roberts and Amelia Roberts before us the subscribers two of the Justices for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be the act and Deed of the said Daniel Mildred Lydia Mildred Daniel Roberts and Amelia Roberts and the Lands and premisses therein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within named Daniel Hughes and Samuel Hughes their heirs and Assigns for ever according to the acts of Assembly of the State aforesaid in such cases made and provided acknowledged before W.m Russell Jn.o Merryman Baltimore County to wit I hereby Certify that William Russell and John Merryman Esquires before whom the aforegoing acknowledgement was taken and who have thereto subscribed their names were at the day of the date thereof and still are two Justices of the peace in and for the 27 sides County aforesaid and to all Certificates by them Given as such due faith and Credit is and Ought to be given as well in the Courts of Justice as thereout County In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and Affixed the Seal of my Office Seal this tenth Day of April Seventeen hundred and Eighty four Recorded 12.th April 1784 William Gibson Clk B County Ex.d The State of Maryland To The Honorable Robert Hanson Harrison Alexander Contee Hanson and Robert Goldsborough Junior Esquires Greeting Be it known That reposing great trust and Confidence in your Integrity and sound Judgment in the W.m Paca Law you and every of you are Jointly and severally appointed and assigned Judges of the General Court to do Equal right and Justice according to the Law of this State in every Case in which you shall Act as Judge Jointly or severally freely Without sale fully without any Denial and speedily without delay and you and every one or more of you are assigned Judges of the General Court to execute the Office of Judge of the said Court Justly honestly and faithfully according to the Law and you are to hold and execute the said Office of Judge for and during your good behaviour Given under the Great Seal of the State of Maryland this twentieth day of January in the year of our Lord one J Rogers Chan.l thousand seven hundred and Eighty four Witness The Honorable John Rogers Esquire Chancellor Maryland On the 27.th Day of March 1784 the honorable Robert Goldsborough Junior Esquire appointed a Judge of the General Court appeared before the subscriber one of the Judges of the said Court and did take repeat and subscribe the oath of allegiance prescribed by the declaration of rights and the law of this state and did repeat and subscribe a declaration of his belief in the Christian religion and did take the oath of office and the several oaths prescribed to be taken by a Judge by the constitution and form of Government To the Clerk of the General Court for the A C Hanson western and eastern shores of the State of Maryland Recorded 23 April 1784 Ex.d To all People to whom this present writing or Letter of Attorney shall come I Job Harvey Attorney in fact for Allen England Joseph England and Charles England of Aldermills in the Parish of Tamworth & County of Stafford in the Kingdom of Great Britain Gentlemen only sons and Heirs of John England late of Maryland deceased send Greeting Know Ye that I have made ordained and Constituted and by these presents |
