197 At the foot of the aforegoing Bond was thus written Viz.t I hereby certify that William Frazier & Theodore Hodgkin the subscribing Evidences to the within bond made Oath that they were present when Benjamin Wailes & Leon.d Waring signed sealed and acknowledged the within bond & at these requests signed the same as witnesses thereto W Bowie Recorded 20.th March 1784 Ex.d Know all men by these presents that we John Beall Humphry Belt and Benjamin Brookes of Prince Georges County ^Gentlemen^ are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and ust sum of thirteen thousand Pounds Current money to be paid unto the said state to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs Executors and Administrators Jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this Sixth day of March in the Year Seventeen hundred and Eighty four The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound John Beall shall well and faithfully execute and perform the several duties required of him as Collector of the tax for Prince Georges County according to Law then the above obligation to be Void else to remain in full force and Virtue in Law John Beall (Seal) Signed Sealed & Delivered Humphry Belt (Seal) in the presence of Benj Brookes (Seal) Nath.l Magruder Edw.d Sprigg J Contee Recorded 31.st March 1784 Ex.d Know all men by these presents that we W.m M.cLaughlin Thomas Todd and Thomas Rutter all of Baltimore County and State of Maryland are held and firmly bound unto the said State of Maryland in the full and Just sum of Twenty five thousand nine hundred & fourteen Pounds to be paid to the said State her Certain Attorney or Assigns to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves and each of us our and each of our heirs Executors and Admi^ni^strators Jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 13.th day of March 1784 The Condition of the Above obligation is such that if the above bound William M.cLaughlin shall and faithfully Execute the several dities required of him as collector of the tax for Baltimore County according to Law then the above obligation to be void else to remmain in full force and Virtue Signed Sealed & delivered W.m M.cLaughlin (Seal) in the presence of Tho.s Todd (Seal) W.m Spear Benjamin Rogers Thomas Rutter (Seal) Sam.l Owings Dan.l Bowly Recorded 8.th April 1784 Ex.d & D.d p.d This Indenture made the sixteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty three Between Daniel Mildred of Fenchurch Street London in the Kingdom of Great Britain Banker in his own right and ^as^ the Sole Executor of the Last Will and Testament of John Roberts late of the same place Merchant |
