185 about seventy yards above the second branch that is above Bens Branch & about three hundred yards to the said Falls or westermost Great Branch and runing thence North Sixty eight degrees West forty two perches thence South forty four degrees West fifty perches thence North Eighty seven degrees West one hundred perches thence South eleven and a half degree East one hundred and eighteen perches thence North Eighty eight degrees East seventy four perches thence with a straight line to the first beginning place containing and now laid out for ninety acres of land more or less together with all houses outhouses orchards Fenceings Gardens & all and singular the improvements premises & appurtenances unto the same belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said ninety Acres of land afs.d together with all and singular the premises & appurtenances unto the said George Whips his heirs and Assigns for ever to the only proper use & behoof of him the said George Whips his heirs and Assigns for ever And the said Samuel Whips and his heirs the said ninety Acres of land unto the said George Whips and his heirs in manner & form afs.d conveyd against him the said Samuel his heirs & Assigns & against all and every other person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming by from through or under him the said Samuel Whips doth further covenant to & with the said George Whips that he the said Samuel Whips & his heirs shall & will at the reasonable request and at the cost & charge of the said George Whips or his heirs further Do or suffer to be done any other lawful act or acts thing or things devise or devices fort the better safety & more sure making of the land & premises unto the said George Whips his heirs or Assigns as by the said George Whips his heirs or Assigns or his or their Council learned in the law shall be reasonably devised advised or requested In witness whereof the party first above named hath hereunto sett his hand and affixed his Seal the day and year first above written Samuel Whips (S) Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of A C Hanson On the back of the aforegoing deed were the following Endorsements to wit Receiv'd of George the sum of five shillings being the Consideration Money mentioned in the within Indenture Samuel Whips Test A C Hanson Maryland March 11.th 1784 Then came before the Subscriber one of the Judges of the General Court The within named Samuel Whips & acknowledged the within Indenture to be his Act & deed & the land & premises within mentioned to be the right & Estate of the within mentiond George Whips his heirs & Assigns forever A C Hanson Recorded 11.th March 1784 Ex.d & dl.d & p.d This Indenture made this eleventh day of March Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and Eighty four Between Samuel Whips of Ann Arundel County & State of Maryland planter of the one part & George Whips of Ann Arundel County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Whips for |
