181 Rents received by lease on the said Sold and all the issues and profits thereof and also all the right Interest claim or property whatever of the said William Paca in or to the said Lots hereby bargained and sold or in or to any of them or any part of them to have and to hold the said premises with the appurtenances to him the said Charles Wallace and his heirs to the only use and behoof of him the said Charles Wallace his heirs and Assigns and to and for no other use interest or purpose whatever Witness my hand and seal the day and year above written Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of W.m Paca (Seal) T Johnson J.r On the back of the aforegoing deed were the following Endorsements to wit Maryland January 10 1784 Then came before me the Subscriber one of the Judges of the General Court the within mentioned William Paca Esq.r and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act and deed and the Lots of Ground herein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within mentioned Charles Wallace and his heirs A C Hanson January 10 1784 Received of Charles Wallace the sum of five Shillings Sterling being the Consideration mentioned in the within deed to be paid by him to me Test A C Hanson W.m Paca Recorded 16.th February 1784 4 sides Ex.d & dl.d This Indenture made this Eighteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty four Between Charles Wallace of the City of Annapolis Merchant of the one part and Joshua Frazier of the City aforesaid Gentleman of the other part Whereas the said Charles Wallace did on the twenty fifth day of June one thousand seven hundred and seventy by Deed indented and inrolled bearing date on the day last mentioned for and in consideration of the rents covenants and agreements therein reserved and mentioned demise grant and to farm let unto a certain Cornelius Garretson of the City aforesaid all that piece or parcel of Ground with the appurtenances situate lying and being in the City of Annapolis aforesaid and butted and bounded as follows Beginning at a Locust post in Cornhill Street and running at right Angles till it intersects East Street then with East Street to the public Circle then with the public circle till it intersects Cornhill Street and then with Cornhill Street to the beginning To have and to hold the said piece or parcel of Ground unto the said Cornelius garretson his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for and during and untill the full end and term of ninety nine years then next ensuing and fully to be complete and ended with furver to the said Cornelius to renew the said Lease from ninety nine years to ninety nine years for ever for and upon the like rents Covenants and agreements as ever therein reserved and contained and also to purchase the Fee Simple and Inheritance and reversion of and in the said demised premises for and in the Consideration and Conditions therein expressed And the aforesaid Joshua Frazier being desirous of purchasing the Fee Simple Inheritance and reversion of the said Lott Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Charles Wallace for and in Consideration of the sum of five shillings Sterling money to him in hand paid by the said Joshua Frazier the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold remised released and for ever quitted claim and doth by |
