182 hereby grant bargain sell remise release and for ever quit claim unto the said Joshua Frazier his heirs and Assigns all his the said Charles Wallaces estate right Title Interest claim and demand whatsoever in and to the Lott hereby bargained sold and released and to the reversion remainder and inheritance thereof To have and to hold the said Lott with its improvements and appurtenances unto him the said Joshua Frazier his heirs and Assigns for ever And the said Charles Wallace the said Lott and premises to the said Joshua Frazier and his heirs shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents to from and against all persons claiming by from or under him the sid Charles Wallace his heirs or Assigns In witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands and affixed their Seals the day and year first above written Cha Wallace (Seal) Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of A C Hanson Sam Galloway On the back of the aforegoing Deed were the following Endorsements to wit Maryland On the eighteenth day of February 1784 Charles Wallace appeared before the subscriber one of the Judges of the General Court and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be his Act and deed A C Hanson Maryland And on the day following came Catherine the wife of the said Charles Wallace and being by me privately examined out of the hearing of her said husband acknowledged that she relinquished her right of dower to the land mentioned in the within deed and that she did freely and willingly without being induced thereto by fear or threats of or ill usage by her said husband or fear of his displeasure Acknowledged before the Subscriber one of the Judges of the General Court A C Hanson 6½ sides Recorded 21.st February 1784 Ex.d & dl.d This Indenture made this eighteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty four Between Charles Wallace of the City of Annapolis Merchant of the one part and Joshua Frazier of the City aforesaid Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Charles Wallace for and in Consideration of the sum of five shillings to him in hand paid by the said Joshua Frazier hath granted bargained and sold to the said Joshua Frazier and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell to the said Joshua Frazier and his heirs all that piece or parcel of Ground situate lying and being in the City of Annapolis aforesaid beginning at the upper corner of William Hewitts Lott on Fleet Street and running with said Hewitts Lott till it intersects a Lott belonging to Charles Bryan then with said Lott to East Street then with East Street to Fleet Street then down Fleet Street to Hewitts Lott To have and to hold the said Lott with its improvements and appurtenances unto him the said Joshua Frazier his heirs and Assigns for ever and the said Charles Wallace the said Lott and premises to the said Joshua Frazier and his heirs shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents to from and against all persons claiming by from or under him the said Charles his heirs or Assigns In witness whereof the parties |
