173 Beltimore County S.t On the fourth Day of November 1783 then came the within named Joseph Donaldson Gentleman before us the Subscribers two of the justices foresaid County and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that he was Present and saw the within named William Fell Esq.r sign seal and Deliver the within Power of Attorney to the within named David McMechen as his Act and deed for the Purposes within mentioned and the said Fell requested this Deponent to Sign his name thereto as a Witness Sworn before us Joseph Donaldson Jn.o Merryman Thomas Elliott Boltimore County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may Concern that Andrew Buchanan John Merryland and Thomas Elliott Esquires before whom the within depositions were taken and who have thereto Subscribed there names were at the day of the date thereof and still are two Justices of the Peace in and for the County Aforesaid and to all Certificates by them given as such due faith and Credit is and Ought to be given as well in Courts of Justices as thereout In Testimony Wherof I have hereto set my hand and Seal County of my Office this seventh day of Novem.r Seventeen hundred and Seal Eighty three 11 sides William Gibson Ck Boltimore County Recorded the 10.th day of November 1783 Ex.d & dl.d This Indenture made this twentieth day of November Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and eighty three Between Nathaniel Ramsey and Clement Holliday of the City of Annopolis Commissioners for Preservation and Sale of Confiscated british Property in the State of Maryland of the one Part and Thomas Russell of Cacil County Gentleman of the other part Whereas the said Nathaniel Ramsey and Clement Holliday Commissioners as aforesaid did by there deed of Bargain & Sale made & executed on the twelth day of May in the Year aforesaid duly acknowledged & recorded among the land records of Cacil County reference being thereto had may more fully and at large appeare among other property real & personal convey and make over to the Said Thomas Russell and his Heirs three Several Tracts or Parcels of land by the name & description of leased land one tract containing one hundred & twenty Acres One other tract Containing twenty Acres and one other tract containing three hundred & sixty |
