                                        on the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed
       Recv.d of Charles Worthington this 29 day of October September 1770 the
       Sum of two Hundred and fifty five pound Current Money being the
       Consideration for the within Land and Premises

       on the 29 day of October Seventeen Hundred and Seventy Came the within
       Named John Dorsey before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices
       of Ann Arundell County and acknowledge the within Deed and Premises
       therein Containd to be the right and Estate of the within Named
       Charles Worthington his Heirs and assigns forever And at the
       same time Came Mary the wife of the above Said John Dorsey who
       being Privately Examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband
       willingly releas.d all Claim of Dower to the within Land and Premises
       and Declared She did it freely of her own will and not for fear of
       any threats or the Displeasure of her said Husband

       This Indenture made this fourth Day of October in the Year of our Lord one
       thousand seven hundred and Seventy Between Richard Lee of Charles County
       Esquire on the one Part and Daniel Dulany and Lloyd Dulany of the City
       of Annapolis Esquires on the other Part Witnesseth that the said Richard
       Lee for and in consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money
       to him in hand paid by the said Daniel Dulany and Lloyd Dulany
       the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge Hath bargained and
       Sold and by these Presents Doth bargain and sell unto the said Daniel
       Dulany and Lloyd Dulany all that Tract or Parcel of Land called Dan
       lying in Frederick County containing by Estimation five hundred acres
       more or less and also all that Tract or Parcel of Land called the three
       Brothers lying in Charles County containing by Estimation two
       hundred and twenty five Acres more or less and also all that Tract
       or Parcel of Land being part of a Tract called Battin's Clifts lying in
       Charles County containing by Estimation one hundred and five acres
