9 West ninety Perches then South Eighty four Degrees West two hundred and seventy two Perches to the end of the fifth Course of the Whole Tract aforesaid then South Thirty degrees East forty three Perches South two degrees West forty two Perches to the Beginning Trees of a Tract of Land called Harrisons Choice then South Eighty five Degrees West sixteen Perches North twenty five degrees West Twenty Perches North fifty one Degrees West twenty Perches North Twenty six degrees West Twenty Perches North Sixty degrees West Sixteen Perches to the given Line of the aforesaid Land called Pleasant Spring then by a Streight Line to the first begining containing and Laid out for seven hundred and fifty Acres of Land more or Less together with all and singular the Premises and Appurtenances thereto belonging To Have and to Hold the aforesaid Land and Premises with their and every of their Appurtenances to the only proper use and Behoofe of him the aforesaid Greenbury Griffith his Heirs and Assigns for ever and for no other use Intent or purpose whatever and he the said Henry Griffith the above Seven Hundred and fifty Acres of Land Doth Warrant & for ever defend unto him the aforesaid Greenbury Griffith his Heirs and Assigns for ever against all Manner of Persons whatever Claiming by from or under him the aforesaid Henry Griffith and further that he the said Henry Griffith his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns shall and will at the request and charge of him the aforesaid Greenbury Griffith his Heirs or Assigns make do suffer Acknowledge and Execute any other or further Act or Acts thing or things Assurance or Assurances in the Law whatever that shall be by him the said Greenbury Griffith his Heirs or Assigns his or their Council Learned in the Law Reasonably advised or required for the better Surety and sure making the said Bargained Land and Premises unto him the said Greenbury Griffith his Heirs and Assigns for ever Provided the same Contain no other warrantee then is hereby Intended In Witness whereof the said Henry Griffith hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the Day and Year above Written In Presence of Reverdy Ghiselin John Burgess Jun.r H Griffith May the 31.st seventeen Hundred and seventy Then came the within named Henry Griffith before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of Ann Arundel County and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land & Premises therein Contained to be the Right and Estate of the within Named Greenbury Griffith his Heirs and Assigns for ever And at the same time Came Ruth the wife of the abovesaid Henry who being privately Examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband willingly released all Claim of Dower tot he within land and Premises and Declared she did it freely of her own Will and not for any fear or Threats or the Displeasure of her said Husband Before us the Day and Year above written 8½ Sides Reverdy Ghiselin Recorded 14.th June 1770 John Burgess Jun.r |
