725 of the said Richard Cracraft and this Deponent Both Sworn at the Mansion House Rich.d Jackson this 17.th July 1773 Before Fra.s Davis James Townshend Mayor 21 sides Recorded the 15.th day of September 1774 Maryland sc.t This Indenture made this nineteenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and seventy four Between Daniel Dulany Eldest Son and Heir at Law of Walter Dulany Esq.r late of Annapolis deceased of the one part and Osgood Hanbury & Comp.y Merchants in London of the other part Witnesseth That the said Daniel Dulany for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings to him in hand paid by the said Osgood Hanbury and Company the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath given granted bargained sold and confirmed and by these presents Doth give, grant, bargain , sell and confirm unto the said Osgood Hanbury and Company their Heirs and Assigns for ever his full Tenth share of all the Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments and also his full tenth Share of all the Negroes Servants Stock and every other kind of property belonging to the Iron Works in Baltimore County commonly called and known by the Name of the Baltimore Company Iron Works as by Articles of Agreement between the original Partners of the said Company dated October the first One Thousand seven hundred and thirty one Reference being thereunto had may more fully appear To Have and To Hold the said Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments and the said Negroes Servants Stock and other property unto the said Osgood Hanbury and Company their Heirs and Assigns to the only proper Use and Behoof of the said Osgood Hanbury and Company their Heirs and Assigns for ever Provided always and it is the true Intent and Meaning of these presents that if the said Daniel Dulany his Executors or Administrators do and shall well and truly pay unto the said Osgood Hanbury and Company their Executors Administrators or Assigns the full Sum said Daniel Dulany His Heirs Executors or Administrators the aforesaid Sum of Three Thousand pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain with legal Interest for the same at the time aforesaid according to the true Intent and Meaning of these presents to the said Osgood Hanbury and Company their Executors Administrators or Assigns will well and truly pay and satisfy In Witness whereof the parties have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written Signed Sealed and delivered Daniel Dulany (LS) in the presence of Us Philip Thomas Lee On |
