722 Brown being minded and desirous as much as in them lay to Secure and save Harmless the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell of from and against any loss as Damages or Expences which they or either or any of them might Suffer Sustain or be put unto for or in Account of and in proportion to their Several and respective Engagements so entered into buy them had proposed and agreed to Assign and make over to them the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell the said Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty five pounds Seven Shillings and Seven pence and all and every other Sum and sums of Money due to them from the Estate and Effects of the said John Morton Jordan as aforesaid And also to make over or Assign the said Lands so to be purchased or then purchased to the amount of four Thousand pounds as aforesaid so soon as the deeds of Purchase or Conveyance of such Lands should arive in England or come to the Possession or power of the said William Perkins Thomas Buchanan and William Brown It is Witnessed that for the Consideration aforesaid and also of Ten Shillings to the said William Perkins Thomas Buchanan and William Brown in hand paid by the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell they the said William Perkins Thomas Buchanan and William Brown did grant Bargain Sell Assign Transfer and Set over unto the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell their and each of their Exors Administrators and Assigns the said Sum of Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty five five pounds Seven Shillings and Seven pence so due to the said William Perkins Thomas Buchanan and William Brown of and from the Executor or Executors of the Estate and Effects of the said John Morton Jordan as aforesaid To Hold Receive perceived and Take the said Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty five pounds Seven Shillings and Seven pence and every part and Parcel thereof unto the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell their Exors Admors and Assigns to their only proper use and behoofe for ever And for the better enabling the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell their and each of their Exors Admors and Assigns to recover and receive the said Sum of Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty five pounds Seven Shillings and Seven pence and every part thereof of and from the Executor or Executors the said William Perkins Thomas Buchanan and William Brown did make ordain Nominate Authorize constitute and appoint and in their and each of their place and Stead put and depute the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell then and each of their Exors Admors and Assigns their True and Lawful Attorney and Attorneys for them and in their name but to the only proper use and behoofe of the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell to Ask demand Obtain Sue for Recover and Receive of and from the said Executor or Executors of the said John Morton Jordan deceased and also of and from all and every other person or persons who should or might be liable to pay the same their said demand of Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty five pounds Seven Shillings and Seven pence and upon receipt thereof or any part thereof good and Sufficient acquittances Releases and other discharges to make and Execute for the same as should be Necessary and one or more Attorney or Attornies under them for the purposes aforesaid to make Nominate and appoint from Time To Time as they or either of Them should for Occassion And further to do all and every other Act and thing which should or might be requisite for the More easy Recovery and receiveing the said sum of twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty five pounds Seven shillings and seven pence as fully and Effectually as if they the said William Perkins Thomas Buchanan and William Brown or either of them was or were present and did the same Personally Now Know all men by these Presents that they the said Henry Holland William Powell and Cordall Powell for and in Consideration of the Especial Trust and Confidence which they have and do repose in Richard Holland of Piccadilly aforesaid Gentleman and for divers other good Causes and Considerations Have made ordained Nominated Constituted and appointed and in their place and Stead put and deputed And by these presents Do make ordain Nominate Authorize Constitute and appoint and in their place and Stead put and Depute the said Richard Holland their True and Lawful Attorney for them and in their Names and to their use or (in) |
