718 William Powell & Sons their Heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever and the said William Bernard for himself and his Heirs doth hereby covenant grant and agree to and with the said Henry Holland William Powell & Sons their Heirs and Assigns that he the sid William Bernard shall and will at any Time or Times hereafter at the reasonable Request Cost and Charges in the Law of the said Henry Holland William Powell & Sons their Heirs or Assigns make do acknowledge and execute any further or other Act or Acts Thing or Things Assurance or Conveyance in the Law whatsoever (so as the same contain no other Covenants than is herein contained) for the further and more perfect making over and conveying the Premisses with the Appurtenances aforesaid or any Part thereof to the said Henry Holland William Powell & Sons their Heirs and Assigns as by the said Henry Holland William Powell & Sons their Heirs or Assigns or their or either of their Counsel learned in the Law shall be reasonably devised or advised and required In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above mentioned Signed Sealed & Delivered William Bernard (LS) in the Presence of Jn.o Cooke Phil R.d Fendall On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed (Viz.t) Maryland to wit Received of and from the within named Henry Holland William Powell & Sons the Sum of fifteen hundred Pounds Sterling and five hundred and eighty one Pounds Common Money of the Province of Maryland being the Consideration Money within mentioned Received this twentieth Day of May Seventeen hundred and seventy four Witness William Bernard Jn.o Cooke Phil R.d Fendall Maryland On the twenty first day of May Seventeen hundred and seventy four came William Bernard before me John Cooke one of the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary's Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the said Henry Holland William Powell & Sons their Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and agreeable to the Form of the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided Jn.o Cooke |
