                               This Indenture made this fourth day of August seventeen hundred and seventy four between
       Joshua Cecil of Frederick County Planter of the one Part and Brice Thomas Beale Worthington of Ann Arundel
       County of the other Part witnesseth that the said Joshua Cecil for and in Consideration of the Sum of twenty Pounds
       sterling Money to him the said Joshua Cecil in hand paid by the said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington at and
       before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof the said Joshua Cecil doth hereby acknowledge
       and himself therewith fully satisfied contented and paid hath given grated bargained sold aliened
       released and confirmed and by these Presents doth give grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto him
       the said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his Heirs and Assigns forever one hundred Acres of Land or
       all his Part of a tract of Land called the Resurvey on Wite Catt Spring (which was conveyed to him the said
       Joshua Cecil by the said Brice Tho.s Beale Worthington by Deed bearing ^Date^ on or about the fourth Day of
       March and one thousand seven^teen^ hundred and sixty nine Reference to the said Deed being had may more fully
       appear which said one hundred Acres of Land more or less is now in the Possession and Occupation of
       the said Joshua Cecil) Together with all singular the Premises and Appurtenancess to them ^same^ belonging  To have
       and to hold the said one hundred Acres of Land more or less with its Premises and Appertenances unto him
       the said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his heirs and Assigns forever and to no other Use Intent or Purpose
       whatsoever and the said Joshua Cecil for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby covenant
       promise grant and agree to and with the said Brice Tho.s Beale Worthington his heirs and Assignes That
       he the said Joshua Cecil his heirs Executors and Administrators shall and will forever hereafter warrant
       and defend the said one hundred            of Land with the Premisses and Appurtenances thereto belonging
       against him the said Joshua Cecil and his heirs and against all Manner of Persons whatsoever unto him the
       said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his heirs and Assigns forever provided always and it is the true
       Intent and Meaning of these Presents that if the said Joshua Cecil his Heirs Executors or Administrators shall
       and doe well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his Heirs Executors
       Administrators or Assigns the just and full Sum of twenty Pounds sterling Money with legal Interest for the
       same at or upon the first Day of March next ensuing the Date hereof that then this Deed to be void and none
       Effect and the said Joshua Cecil for himself and his heirs and Assigns doth further covenant and agree to
       and with the said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his heirs Executors Adm.rs and Assignes by these Presents in
       manner and form following that is to say  In case the said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his heirs and
       Assignes at any Time after the Date of these Presents shall advance or pay for the said Joshua Cecil any Sum
       or Sums of Money or Tobacco on the said Mortgage or that the aforesaid mortgaged Premisses at any Time
       hereafter shall become indebted to the said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington for any Sum of Money or
       Tobacco shall stand remain and continue and be Security of the Payment of the same with Interest thereon
       and that the said mortgaged Premis^s^es shall not be redeemable or redeemed untill Payment shall be made of
       the Money or Tobacco so advanced and the Charge of drawing and recording the Deed  In Witness whereof
       the said Joshua Cecil hath hereunto sett his hand and affixed his Seale the Day and Year first above written

       On the 4.th Day of August seventeen hundred and seventy four came before me the Subscriber one of
       the Lord Proprietaris Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Joshua Cecil and acknowledged
       the within Deed as his Act and Deed and the Land and Premises within mentioned to be the right
       and Estate of the within named Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his heirs and Assignes forever
       according to the true Intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Cases
       made and provided                                                                   Philip Thomas Lee
