7 On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t A Shedule of the Slaves Black Cattle Horses and sheep mentioned in and referred to by the annexed Indenture to wit Will aged about Thirty Years Hercules about the same age Harry aged about Twenty six Years Peter aged about Thirty Years Abraham aged about seventeen Years Ned aged about Twenty five Years Jack aged about Twenty Years Ben aged about Eighteen Years Great Jack aged about Twenty four Years Sue aged about twenty five Years Kate aged about Twenty Years Hannah aged about Sixteen Years Little Deb aged about Twelve Years ^Bear aged about twelve years^ Abagail aged about Ten Years Poll aged about Ten Years Isaac aged about Nine Years Daniel aged about seven years James aged about Three Years Fanny aged about four Years Nick aged about Three Years Fifty head of Black Cattle Ten Head of Horses Fifty Head of Sheep Witness my hand this Twenty seventh Day of April seventeen hundred and seventy Witness Th.s Johnson Jun.r Baker Johnson J Ridgely Received on the Day and Year first within Written of and from the within Named Brice Thomas Beale Worthington the within mentioned sum of five Shillings Sterling Witness Th.s Johnson Jun.r Received by me Baker Johnson H Ridgely On the 27.th day of April 1770 Came me the subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within Named Henry Ridgely and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands within mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within named Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his Heirs & Assigns for ever and the slaves within mentioned and their Increase and the within mentioned Black Cattle Horses and sheep to be the Property of the said Brice Thomas Beale Worthington his Executors Administrators and Assigns according to the true Intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided W.m Hayward Recorded 12.th May 1770 10 sides Ex.d This Indenture made the third Day of April in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy Between Benjamin Ogle of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Gent eldest son and Heir at Law of Samuel Ogle Esq.r Deceased of the one part and Anne Catharine Green of the City of Annapolis Widow of the other part Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Ogle for and in Consideration of the Sum of one Hundred and sixty Pounds Sterling Money to him in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained Sold and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth grant Bargain sell and confirm unto her the said Anne Catharine Green her Heirs & Assigns forever all that Lot or Portion of Ground situate lying and being in Charles Street in the City of Annapolis aforesaid Numbered 42 together with all Houses Edifices buildings Gardens and all other Improvements thereunto belonging and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and all the Estate Right Title Interest use Trust property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Benjamin Ogle of into or out of the said Lott hereby conveyed or intended so to be To Have and to Hold the aforesaid Lott or Portion of Ground and Premises with the Appurtenances unto her the said Anne Catharine Green her Heirs (or) |
