699 Conveyances or Assurances in the Law as shall by the said James Williams and Elizabeth his Wife or either of them or their or either of their Counsel learned in the Law be devised advised or required well and sufficiently convey assure make over & acknowledge the aforesaid hereby released premisses or meant mentioned or intended so to be with its Rights Members and Appurtenances unto the same James Williams and Elizabeth his Wife during their respective natural Lives the Remainder to the right Heirs of the same James Williams And the said James Tilghman doth hereby for himself his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns covenant promise grant and agree to and with the aforesaid James Williams and Elizabeth his Wife and their and each of their Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said James Tilghman his Heirs or Assigns shall and will within five Days next after the Day of the Date hereof at the reasonable Request Cost and Charges of the same James Williams & Elizabeth his Wife or either of them by Deeds of Lease and Release or by such good and sufficient Deeds Conveyances or Assurances in the Law as shall by the said James Williams & Elizabeth his Wife or either of them or their or either of their Counsel learned in the Law be devised advised or required well and sufficiently convey assure make over and acknowledge the aforesaid hereby released Premisses or meant mentioned or intended so to be with its Rights Members and Appurtenances unto the same James Williams & Elizabeth his Wife in such Manner & under such Restrictions Limitations & Remainders as are herein before for that purpose mentioned & expressed In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and affixed their Seals the Day and Year first within written Ja.s Williams (LS) Sealed & Delivered in Eliz.a Williams (LS) Presence of Ja Tilghman of Tho.s Brooke Hodgkin Annapolis (LS) W.m Steuart On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed (Viz.t) Received on the Day and Year first within written from the within James Tilghman by us the within James Williams and Elizabeth Williams respectively the Sum of five Shillings Sterling being in full for the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid us Witness Ja.s Williams Tho.s Brooke Hodgkin Eliz.a Williams W.m Steuart Be it remembered that on the twelfth Day of July 1774 Came before us the Subscribers two of the Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County the within James Williams and Elizabeth his Wife and the said James Williams did acknowledge the within Instrument to be his Act & Deed & the within bargained & released premisses to be the Right & Estate of the within James Tilghman for the Uses and Purposes & according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed And the said Elizabeth Williams being by me examined apart from and out of the (Hearing) |
