676 complied with) he the said Fielder Gaunt and his Heirs shall and will from Time to Time and at all Times hereafter warrant and defend the Lands and Premises by these Presents conveyed or intended so to be unto the said Edward Gantt and George Gantt their Heirs and Assigns for ever against him the said Fielder Gaunt and his Heirs and against all and every other Person and Persons whatsoever claiming or to claim the same Premises or any Part thereof by from or under him them or any of them in any Wise And lastly that he the said Fielder Gaunt and his Heirs shall and will at any Time or Time after Default shall be made in Performance of the Condidition herein before written or any part thereof make do acknowledge and execute or cause and procure to be made done acknowledged and executed all and every such further lawful and reasonable Act and Acts Thing and Things Deeds Devices Conveyances and Assurances in the Law whatsoever for the further better and more perfect and absolute granting and confirming the Lands and Premises by these Presents conveyed or intended so to be unto the said Edward Gantt and George Gantt their Heirs and Assigns forever as by the said Edward Gantt and George Gantt their Heirs or Assigns or any of them shall for that Purpose be lawfully or reasonably devised advised or required In Witness the said Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written Sealed and Delivered in the Fielder Gaunt (LS) Presence of me Edw.d Gantt (LS) Th.s Johnson Jun.r George Gantt (LS) Sealed and Delivered by George Gantt in Presence of Ja Tilghman of Annapolis On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed (Viz.t) Received on the Day and of the Date of within written bargain and Sale of and from the within named Edward Gantt and George Gantt the Sum of five Shillings £ S D Sterling in full for Consideration Money within mentioned to be paid to me 0 5 0 Witness Ja Tilghman 3.d Fielder Gaunt On the twenty first Day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy four personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of the Judges of the Provincial Court the within named Fielder Gaunt and acknowledged the within written Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed agreeable to the Purport and true Meaning thereof pursuant to the Directions of the several Acts of Assembly in such Cases made and provided Taken and acknowledged before 10½ Sides Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Recorded 10.th May 1774 |
