       his certain Attorney Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid Sum of
       two hundred and forty Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain with legal
       Interest for the same at or before the said Fifty Day of May next ensuing
       the Date of these Presents  In Witness whereof the said Parties have hereto
       sett their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above written

    Maryland fs.t   Be it remembered that on the fifth Day of May in the year
       seventeen hundred and seventy four came before me William Hayward Esq.r
       one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland Benjamin Binney
       and Mary  his Wife Parties to the within Indenture and acknowledged the
       same Indenture to be their Indenture Act and Deed  And the said
       Mary was then by me ^examined^ privately out of the Hearing of her said Husband
       whether she doth make her Acknowledgment aforesaid willingly and freely
       and without being induced thereto by Fear or Threats of or ill usage by her
8 Sides   said Husband or Fear of his Displeasure who thereupon privately out of
       the Hearing of her said Husband did declare that she doth the same
       willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by Fear or
       Threats of or ill Usage by her said Husband or Fear of his Displeasure
