653 in Virtue of his Intermarriage with a certain Frances Clayland and also all that twenty nine Acres part of the said Tract called Finneys Hermitage purchased by the said Francis in Fee All that thirty nine Acres an entire Tract called Bite the Biter and that one Acre of Land part of the Tract called Scipton whereon the said Francis then lived and which was by him purchased of James Set One Negro Man Slave named Pomp about thirty five Years of Age One Negro Man Slave named Cesar about thirty years of Age One Negro Man Save named Pompey about forty five Years of Age One Negro Woman Slave named Nan about twenty five Years of Age One Negro Woman Slave named Nell about twenty six years of Age One Negro Woman Slave named Grace about eighteen Years of Age One Negro Girl Slave named Phillis about eleven Years of Age One Negro Boy Slave named Bob about ten Years of Age One Negro Girl Slave named Hannah about eight Years of Age One Negro Girl Slave named Mary about seven years of Age One Negro Boy Slave named Jim about three Years of Age One Negro Girl Slave named Jean about four Years of Age and also one Bay Schooner called THe Skipton with all his Tackle and Furniture And all and every the Goods & Chattles in two Schedules thereunto annexed which were subscribed by the Virtue to the said Deed And whereas by a Proviso in the said Deed contained the Parties aforesaid did agree that after the said Judgment was fully discharged and the said James compleatly made whole for any Injury that he might sustain by Means of his engaging the Satisfaction of the said Judgment and after the said James LLoyd Chamberlaine should be fully paid for his Trouble and Expences in procuring his complete Indemnity against his Engagement aforesaid And also all the Expence of making and recording the said Deed that the said Deed and every Clause & Covenant therein should thereafter become void Referrence being had to the said Deed and Schedules recorded in the Provincial Court Land Records may more fully and at large appear Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said James LLoyd Chamberlaine for and in Consideration of the said Francis Baker his actual Payment of the Judgment aforesaid together with the full Cost of Suit and all Expences and the said James LLoyd Chamberlaine being thereby fully indemnified and saved from all Injury that might or may arise by Means of his Engagement aforesaid all which he doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith to be fully satisfied contented and paid He the said James LLoyd Chamberlaine hath remised released and for ever quitted Claim and by these presents doth for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them remise release and for ever quit Claim unto the said Francis Baker his Heirs Executors and Administrators of in and unto all and (singular) |
