Ex.d
       This Indenture made the twenty eighth of March 1774 in the Year of our Lord
       one thousand and seven hundred and seventy   Between Osborn Beck and both
       of the Province of Maryland and County of Prince George of the one Part and Jesse Cheney
       of the Province and County afores.d of the other Part  Witnesseth that the said Osborn
       Beck for and in Consideration of the Sum of sixteen Pounds seventeen Shillings and six
       Pence Current Money of Maryland to them in Hand paid before the Ensealing and Delivery
       of these presents the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledg have granted bargained
       and sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents do grant bargain and sell alien
       enfeoff and confirm unto the said Jesse ^Cheney^ his Heirs and Assigns for ever a certain Tract or Parcel of
       Land being Part of a Tract of Land called the Parcel enlarged situate lying and being in
       the County of Prince George containing by survey fifteen Acres beginning at the End of the fourth
       Line of that Part of the Tract of Land lately the Property of a certain John Chaplain and
       which the said Jesse Cheney purchased of the s.d John Chaplain and running thence Sig.d E 104 P.s
       E 15 P.s  N 23  W 15 P.s  N 1½  W 86 P.s thence with a straight Line to the
       Beginning together with all Roads Woods Ways Fences Orchards Profits Houses Advantages
       and Conveniences whatsoever to the same belonging or in any Wise appertaining and the Reversion
       and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and every Part or
       Parcel thereof and all the Estate Right Title I^n^terest Claim and Demand of them the s.d
       Osborn Beck of in and to the same and every Part thereof  To have and to hold The
       s.d fifteen Acres of Land with the Appurtenances to the said Jesse Cheney his Heirs and Assigns
       to his and there own proper Use and Behoof for ever and the s.d Osborn Beck Beck doth
       grant and agree to and with the s.d Jesse Cheney his Heirs and Assigns that they the s.d
       Osborn Beck Beck their Heirs and Assigns the above mentioned Tract of Land and
       Premises with the Appurtenances thereof unto the s.d Jesse Cheney his Heirs and Assigns
       forever against the s.d Osborn Beck and their Heirs and against all and every other
       Person or Persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever Defend by these Presents
       In Witness whereof the s.d Osborn Beck have set their Hands and Seals the Day
       and Year above written

          On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed (Viz.t)
