       said Premisses belonging or in any wise appertaining  And also all other the Messuages
       Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Goods and Chattles and Parts and Shares of
       Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Goods and Chattles whatsoever of him the
       said John Buchanan in Maryland aforesaid with their and every of their Appurtenances
       And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits of
       the said Premisses  To have and to hold the said Premisses mentioned to be hereby bargained
       and sold and every part and Parcel thereof with their and every of their Appurtenances unto
       the said John Rogers Abraham Dyson Richard Cooke John Worrall Edmund Lardner
       Samuel Dyson Edward Gale and Thomas Porteus their Executors Administrators
       and Assigns from the Day next before the Day of the Date of these Presents for and
       during and unto the full End and Term of one whole Year from thence next ensuing
       and fully to be compleat and ended  Yielding and paying therefore unto the
       said John Buchanan and Elizabeth his Wife their Heirs or Assigns the Rent of one
       pepper Corn at the End of the said Term (if the same shall be lawfully demanded) To
       the Intent and Purpose that by Virtue of these Presents and of the Statute for transferring
       Uses into Possession the said John Rogers Abraham Dyson Richard Cooke John
       Worrall Edmund Lardner Samuel Dyson Edward Gale and Thomas Porteus may be
       in the actual Possession of the said premisses hereby bargained and sold and be
       thereby enabled to accept and take a Grant and Release of the Reversion and
       Inheritance of the same premisses To and To the Use of them their Heirs and Assigns
8 Sides   To for and upon such Uses Trusts Intents and purposes as shall be thereof mentioned
       expressed and declared in and by one Indenture of Release and Assignment already
       prepared and intended to bear Date the Day next after the Day of the Date of
       these Presents and to be made between the same Persons as are parties hereto
       In Witness whereof the said Parties ^to these presents^ have hereunto set their Hands and Seals
       the Day and Year first above written
       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed (Viz.t)            John (LS) Buchanan
       Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of (being first duly stampt
       in the Presence of us                                                                           Eliz  (LS)  Buchanan

                                                                      Recorded 2.d Day of April 1774


E     This Indenture made the twenty second Day of May in the thirteenth Year of the
       Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France
       and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c  And in the Year of our Lord one thousand
       seven hundred and seventy three  Between John Buchanan of Tower Street London
       Merchant and Elizabeth his ^wife^ of the one part and John Rogers and Abraham Dyson of
       Cornhill London Warehousemen and Partners Richard Cooke of Houndsditch
