607) Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty ninth Day of September in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and seventy three Between Samuel Johnson of Ann Arundel County Iron maker of the one Part and Joseph Selby of the City of Annapolis Sadler of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Johnson for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and forty Pounds Currency to him in Hand paid by the said Joseph Selby at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth release acquit and discharge the said Joseph Selby his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them by these Presents Hath given granted bargained sold aliened released and confirmed And by these Presents doth give grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto him the said Joseph Selby his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or Parcell of Land lying and being in Prince Georges County called Stone Field originally granted unto the said Samuel Johnson containing Two hundred Acres of Land more or less Together with all Ways Waters Water Courses Woods Underwoods Priviledges Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Tract of Land belonging or in any Wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every Part and Parcell thereof And ^all^ the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust Possession Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Samuel Johnson of in or to the Land To have and to hold the said Tract of Land and Premisses with its Rights Members and Appurtenances to him the said Joseph Selby his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper Use and Behoof of him the said Joseph Selby his Heirs and Assigns forever and to or for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said Samuel Johnson for him and his Heirs the same Tract or Parcell of Land and Premisses and every Part thereof against him or his Heirs and against all and every other Person and Persons whatsoever to the said Joseph Selby his Heirs and Assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the said Samuel Johnson hath hereunto set his Hand and Seal the Day and Year first above written Signed Sealed and delivered Samuel Johnson (LS) in the Presence of Richard Potts John Littlejohn On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed Viz.t Received on the Day and Year first within written of and from the within Joseph Selby the Sum of One hundred and forty Pounds Currency it being the Consideration within mentioned to be by him paid to me I say received by me Witness Samuel Johnson Richard Potts John Littlejohn |
